The router and DSU/CSU Equipment provides the enterprise LAN/WAN data routing administration, Firewall security, bandwidth control and diagnostics capability. FIREWALL technology is optional and quoted based on the business/enterprise requirements. Firewall technology protects the LAN from unauthorized access to your network and regulates the access from your (LAN) network to the Internet. It also provides for secure authorized Remote Access administration. Installation of the DS1 line circuit (local loop) is often packaged with the router DSU/CSU equipment by the network vendors. CySpace City broadband support will provide quotes for firewall, routing equipment, network management and service upgrades. The circuit loop fee covers the physical connection between your location and CySpace City. Circuits loops are typically leased "per mile" - the distance between CySpace City POP and your building. For exact pricing information on your circuit, contact CySpace City at 1-866-730-2668. Dedicated Internet connections do not include Usenet newsgroup feeds or LAN integration. USENET newsgroup feeds are available at an additional monthly charge. LAN integration is available on a consulting basis at an additional rate per hour billed on 15 minute increments (please call for free site evaluation). An upgrade charge is required by any connection going from a 128Kbs or lower bandwidth. If your current bandwidth is higher than a 128Kbs, it's a free upgrade until T1 bandwidth 1.544mbs is reached).
