Working with HTML Tags for the CeC page HTML tags allows you to do a variety of things like create links for URLS, email, create lists, etc. While CeC supports HTML posting, knowing how to post HTML is another thing.While some sites will automatically convert a URL into a link, CeC requires you actually create the HTML tagging. This page will hopefully make using HTML on CeC an easier task and at the same time enhance your enjoyment of the service! The above example when posted in a CeC posting will produce a link named "contact me", which when clicked, will open your email application with a new message addressed to . Simply substitute the email address, , for the one you wish to post, and the words contact me for whatever you wish to have as the link text. CeC Shortcut <A HREF="mailto: ">contact me</A> URLs (Uniform Resource Locators) http://www.cyspacecity.net Very similar to email addressing. Simply substitute the URL (in this example http://www.cyspacecity.net) for the one you wish to use, and the link text (in this example CySpace City Marketing) for the words you wish to have as the text that gets selected (clicked). Breaks and Paragraphs To cause a break in a line you type <BR> (and the text will begin on the next line). If you want to skip a line and create a new paragraph, type <P>. Horizontal Rule <HR ALIGN=LEFT SIZE=5 WIDTH="25%" NOSHADE> <NOBR><HR ALIGN=CENTER SIZE=1 WIDTH=100></NOBR> This command and it's modifiers place and affect the appearance of a horizontal line on the screen.
